Amason & Associates offers several customized options for project delivery, depending on the needs of our client. Regardless of the position we take, we will encourage a team approach from the early planning stages through the completion of the project to ensure our client’s needs and expectations drive the project design, schedule, and delivery. At all times during the course of the project, we will work with our client toward the common goal of completing the project on schedule and within budget, while maintaining the level of workmanship and attention to detail our clients have come to expect.

General Contracting

When Amason & Associates is selected as a General Contractor, it is usually through the traditional bid process. We enter the team at the conclusion of the design phase by either a negotiated contract or fixed bid basis. This has been the traditional delivery method of the past, whereby the Owner employs the designer and the General Contactor submits a bid or basis of negotiation derived from the design.

Design-Build

Amason & Associates has completed many design-build projects, including healthcare facilities, multi-family developments, commercial office buildings, restaurants, and industrial facilities. In this delivery method, we are typically the single source for the design and construction of the project. Either we select and manage the design team ourselves or we work with the Owner to choose the architectural and engineering designers best suited for the project’s specific needs. This method allows the Owner to benefit from a design developed among all team members and greatly reduces the potential for re-design based on feasibility issues or budget overruns.

Construction Management

Amason & Associates is most often engaged in the construction management delivery method. We are selected either through a negotiated contract or bid process during or prior to the beginning of the design phase of a project. We work closely with the Owner and designers to achieve a cost effective, quality project that can be delivered on schedule. Depending on the needs of the Owner and criteria of the project, Amason acts as either agent of the Owner, in which the Owner contracts with each trade, or at-risk, in which we contract with each trade, when providing Construction Management services. We believe that Construction Management is the most progressive delivery method available and have a long list of clients who agree.
