Amason has extensive experience in all phases of commercial construction. And, from new multi-story office buildings with multiple, turn-key tenant build-outs to renovations of existing facilities, we have applied that experience to a wide variety of commercial projects. In many of these projects, the businesses of our clients or other building tenants must remain ongoing during the construction process. With team leaders that excel in planning and careful organization, we can minimize or altogether avoid those disruptions that are too common in our industry.

 First Federal Bank Building, Tuscaloosa, Alabama

The First Federal Bank Building is the largest class-A office building in Tuscaloosa. In our capacity as construction manager, Amason was responsible for completing the fast-track construction of this three-story, 60,000 square-foot facility, on time and under budget, in 13 months.

The scope of work for this project included demolishing an existing building, constructing the shell of the building, and building-out the interior space for the building’s occupants: First Federal Bank; Tuscaloosa Ear, Nose & Throat; and River Gas Corporation. Since the completion of the building, we have continued to provide construction services to existing and new building tenants, including reconfiguring the First Federal lobby and building out corporate office space for Amedisys, a national provider of home health care nursing services.
